Myanmar Relief Fund
With international aid trickling in, Friends of Conservation mobilized teams already on the ground in Myanmar to gather and deliver essential supplies such as rice, drinking water, cooking oil, medicines and clothing to the ravaged Irrawaddy Delta. These were some of the first relief shipments to arrive in Pathein, where thousands of refugees are starving. With your support, we can continue to purchase food, blankets, mosquito nets and re-hydration salts in regions of the country not affected by the cyclone, such as Inle Lake and Bagan, to avoid the hugely inflated prices in Yangon.
